Common fields

These fields work across many aquarium styles and make each reading easier to interpret later.

Date, time, tank, test kit or device
Temperature, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate
Water change, dosing, cleaning, feeding, or livestock notes
Observer initials when multiple people help

Advanced or setup-specific fields

Reef, planted, saltwater, and pond systems may need additional trend fields.

Salinity or specific gravity
Alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, phosphate
